Rocky Flats Ranch is excited to announce that our Highland Fold is growing with the expected arrival of a new calf in the coming weeks! Our own HM Sandra, an AHCA (American Highland Cattle Association) Fullblood registered heifer is confirmed to be carrying a calf and expected to be calving by August 2022. HM Sandra’s expected calf will be the first AHCA registered calf born on the Rocky Flats Ranch! The sire to our first Rocky Flats Ranch calf is Green Leaf’s Hank out of Nebraska. We anxiously await the arrival of a bull calf or heifer calf and are excited to see what coat color the calf will be. Highland coat colors are: Black, Brindle, Dun, Red, Silver or Yellow. Both the Dam and the Sire are Red coats.
